Maho is looking for a retail store manager to run our “tiny house” retail store concept that will be traveling between Orange Beach, Alabama; Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; and Charleston, South Carolina on a seasonal basis for the next two years.

Responsibilities


  • Provide exceptional customer service, in line with Maho’s core values and brand philosophy
  • Communicate aforementioned philosophy to customers
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and provide expert style advice
  • Communicate effectively and accurately our product fit, sizing, and unique features of each style
  • Deliver an amazing shopping experience for all customers
  • Update internal documentation with detailed notes to include customer tracking and sales numbers, as well as customer experience
  • Understand and manage our inventory on hand, as well as policies and procedures around managing inventory
  • Build and manage inventory transfers between the Store and Warehouse
  • Understand, use, and manage our point of sale system
  • Handle in-store customer inquiries
  • Manage customer inquiries and communication
  • Support Social Media activities and channels
  • Product and showroom merchandising upkeep to ensure all displays meet brand aesthetic and organizational standards
  • Oversee part-time retail staff and scheduling
  • Assist in development and adherence to retail brand guidelines

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of Fashion Retail Management preferred
  • Committed to excellent customer experience
  • Energetic, kind, patient, and adaptable
  • Must be familiar with Google Sheets/Excel
  • Self-directed and hard-working with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Smart and organized
  • Confident in decision making
  • Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to multitask
  • Able to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
  • Available 45-50 hours per week/avg
  • Flexible schedule with no other outside jobs

Compensation: Salary plus travel expenses and housing stipend, based on previous experience and expertise.

Location: Orange Beach, Alabama; Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; and Charleston, South Carolina (must be willing to travel over 2 years)
